Hi, my name is Jac.
But you may also know me as Jaclyn. I’m a young artist that was born and raised in central Ohio.
The name “JAC” comes from my closest family, the nickname I’ve had ever since I was little. It's a term of endearment and intimacy to me. I use it as my artist name because I desire to put all of my self into my work. All my love and all my heart.
I've been a self-taught artist selling work since the age of 15. I've done countless of different projects and jobs with every medium imaginable. As a result, I not only flourished in my artistic skills, but learned to love all kinds of art.
Behind the Art
I believe art isn't only a way to express yourself, but a way to communicate and connect with others as well. That’s why I like creating art that speaks boldly, representing all aspects of life and emotion no matter how big or small.
My goal is to create art that brings communities together and to start conversations that draw people closer to one another. I want to see love and unity grow within our world, and make an effort to step out even when it isn’t easy.
